Designer Rugs and Alex Perry

The Alex Perry rug collection is new and exclusive to Designer Rugs. The collection pays homage to Perry's Greek heritage, featuring 8 designs, all handmade from New Zealand wool.

All designs are suitable for commercial and residential applications and can be custom coloured and sized to suit any application.

Designer Rugs and Easton Pearson

Lexus Australia invited Designer Rugs to present their 2009 collection in collaboration with Australian fashion design duo Lydia Easton and Pamela Pearson (Easton Pearson). The venue for this exclusive preview was the Spring Racing carnival in Melbourne.

The Easton Pearson's rug collection is due to be launched in March 2009. Go to the Designer Rugs events page to see more pictures of the event.

Anthony Manuatu is the winner of the 2008 'Art on the floor' competition run annually by the International School of Colour and Design together with Designer Rugs.

Manuatu's design 'Muck' was chosen from more than 400 entries. The design was said to be "inspired by the simplicity of nature's palm leaves and circles". As the major prize Manuatu received a 200x300cm rug in his design. The 'Muck' design is also available for projects via Designer Rugs.

The Designer Rugs - Akira Kisetsu Collection

Australian design icon Akira Isogawa has collaborated again with Designer Rugs to create the 2007/08 Akira:Kisetsu collection. The 6 new designs reflects Akira's distinctive style of delicate patterns influenced by Japanese style.

Each design features 100% New Zealand Wool, some in combination with viscose or pure silk which add a subtle textural highlight.
