Yeojin Bae's pre summer collection 2009 is Jetset, inspired by the Concorde set, Hollywood starlets and a Palm Springs colour palette.
Jetset is a collection with pleat column dresses, draped and cutaway separates with highlights of heavy embroidery.
Bae began developing the collection, pleating bolts of charmeuse silk fabric in black, pacific blue and blush, and then hand draping the bodices, completed as a floor-length strapless or one shouldered evening dress.
Bae continues working contemporary elements from classic pieces, including a little black dress featuring a sexy cutaway back, falling into a demure blouson bodice finished in a fitted cocktail shirt.
The Jetset collection is available in store from Thursday 30th July 2009 at the Yeojin Bae showroom/boutique located at Level1, Studio 4, 249 Chapel Street, Prahran Melbourne. For further enquiries, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or ph (03) 9529 2250.
